How UK Typing Practice Works

Your numbers use the usual formulas. Gross WPM is typed characters divided by five, divided by the minutes used. Net WPM takes off one word for each five wrong characters per minute and never falls below zero. Accuracy is correct characters divided by typed characters, multiplied by 100, and appears as a dash before you start. In timed tests extra text is added as you type, so the countdown alone ends the session.
